Looking at more of my commercial work, I recently (in the summer of 2021) did a promotional video for a flight academy in Concord, CA. They wanted to show the “thrill of flying” so I decided to approach this video with something you would see out of an action movie trailer. It was a full, and continuous, twelve-hour shoot day with two individual flights for scenic and cinematic shots. I was the sole videographer and editor on this project. I also directed the pilots/crew, coordinated the air-to-air flying shots, and lead the pre-production planning.
